Welcome to my blog! I am Lucia, and I would like to share my passion for the World with you.
CYCLADES ISLANDS
If you visit Paros, don't overlook a trip to its smaller sister, the island of Antiparos. An excursion to Antiparos can be made in a day trip, but we recommend you stay overnight to also enjoy the evening atmosphere of the small, eponymous village.
The beaches of Paros please just about everyone. Some have a worldly vocation, Caribbean loungers on the beach, beach club music echoing among the umbrellas. Others are quiet and unexplored, and suitable for families.
It offers trendy bars, upscale restaurants, dreamy hotels and beaches with beach clubs and every comfort. But if you are not a fan of fancy atmospheres you will easily find family-friendly beaches or wild coves, isolated or spartan accommodations, villages that resonate only with the chatter of old people sitting at the bar, and unpretentious taverns.
Whether it was really Venus who created this island as a mirror of her mythological beauty or, on the contrary, Milos was attributed the birthplace of Aphrodite to explain with a mythological narrative how it is possible for such a small island to gather so much wonder, one thing is certain: you will fall hopelessly in love with it.
A comprehensive guide to Milos' beaches that can be reached from the mainland and some tips on how best to enjoy them
Serifos is among the lesser-known Cycladic islands, but just watching a sunset among its rugged heights or from the churches of the Chora is enough to be left enchanted. We fell hopelessly in love with it.
The small island of Sifnos is a modest version of the Cyclades for a quiet, food-focused trip. Sifnos smells of eucalyptus. Every gust of wind mixes the smell of freshly baked cookies with that of fig leaves. Every nook and cranny is cloaked in caper plants with their round green leaves and white flowers.
A comprehensive guide to all the beaches on the island. Our recommendations, and those of the locals, to please every taste and need.
